How does Microneedling work?

Microneedling uses a minimally invasive pen-shaped device studded with several very fine needles, which is passed over the treatment area(s). It is creating controlled micro injuries to the skin.

The needles break down old tissue, causing deliberate minor injury to the skin’s surface thereby stimulating the production of collagen and elastin.

The skin responds with its own repair process which results in a thicker epidermis with a softer appearance of wrinkles, improved skin tone, pore size and acne scars.

What is Microneedling with Hyaluronic Acid?

Hyalurionic Acid (HA) is a naturally occurring sugar found in your body that binds to and absorbs water, and gives fullness and plumpness to the skin. When used with microneedling device, the HA is readily absorbed in the deeper layers of the skin and increases the skin's ability to utilize these nutrients resulting in better tone and texture.

What is Microneedling with PRP?

Alternatively, microneedling can be performed using Plasma Rich Platelets (PRP) to deliver even more potent results. PRP is a concentration of platelets from your own blood that aid in tissue regeneration. Platelet rich plasma activates skin tissue repair, collagen and elastin production for beautiful, youthful results. PRP also addresses under-eye puffiness and dark circles to deliver a more rested and youthful appearance.
