The Icon 1540 fractional laser by CynoSure is an FDA-Approved laser technology that is non-invasive to dramatically improve skin texture and tone. It is great for the treatment of fine lines, wrinkles, scars, and acne scars without significant down time. This fractional non-ablative laser delivers energy deep into the skin. By doing this it breaks down and improves old skin cells to generate new collagen.
What should I expect?
Most treatments are performed in under 30 minutes. The laser feels warm while the laser pulses. For bigger areas or more hardcore treatments, numbing will be used for comfort for the treatment. After the treatment you may experience a temporary redness, warmth and swelling at the treatment site which typically lasts 1-3 days. You can resume your day after the treatment!
